This past weekend I was able to spend some much needed time soaking up the chilly air in the suburbs. There is nothing like taking a little escape to clear your head and spend time with family. It was a super cold day so I layered up with my favorite larger than life scarf and new jacket from zara. When I want to go weekend casual, I always reach for a chambray shirt. What do you grab when you are looking to be comfy on the weekend?
Also! I am loving this lipstick given to me by cutie pie Emilie of TheBrunette. The brand is Thierry Mugler in Metallic Red. She sent it as a little holiday treat along with a French magazine I was featured in. THANK YOU GIRL!!
Emilie - You’re so pretty & well dressed when you’re casual 😉 And I’m so glad that you loved the lipstick, thanks for the note <3

Dom - I really like the Zara scarf. Especially the print. It’s a nice alternative then wearing a tried and true knit scarf.

Shayne Renee - I love that you mix a chunky, shapeless sweater (my go-to winter wear) with a structure purse. It really brings the whole outfit together 🙂

Kristen - Pardon me if I’m misinterpreting, but I love your whole irreverent take on the I’m gonna wear this menswearish sweater/shirt/scarf situation and put my skinny jeans in some slouchy boots and slick my hair back in a bun that might make you uncomfortable and seething with jealousy at the same time thing, and oh yeah, it’s all gonna be totally, undeniably feminine when I’m done spinning your head off. Boo. Yah.
This from the girl still mastering the too long belt tuck trickery. I tip my cap to you lady.
eat.sleep.wear. - Awe thank you!!! xo, Kim
