Tutorial / The Spotted Manicure

NailTutorial_Spotted_eatsleepwear

I wanted to share a simple nail tutorial with you guys! You will need a nail polish color of your choice, and a nail art pen like this one. I am not the first and I won’t be the last to try out this simple technique! Hope it inspires you to add some spots to your nails this Spring.

1. Apply Base Coat to protect the nails. (I used this one)

2. Apply your Nail Color of choice. (I used MAC Midsummer’s Dream which I borrowed from Keiko)

3. Let your nails dry completely before adding the spots.

4. Using a nail art pen, like this one, and start gently pressing down the tip of the pen to make a spot.
Repeat in a pattern over the whole nail. My trick, I start drawing the spots with my less prominent
hand so its easier to finish up the spots without smudging everything.

5. Let your nails dry completely… If you don’t wait, when you apply the top coat it will smudge.
Apply your top coat and boom! YOUR DONE! (I used this one)

Hope you guys enjoyed this dose of spotted fun. Stay tuned for more tutorials!
