I am so excited I have started some of my holiday shopping early. I am one to often procrastinate but this year I was excited to get a head start before Thanksgiving for some of my family and friends. Holiday cards are always top of my list and I am excited to be collaborating with Shutterfly today to share some personalized gift inspiration for your holiday presents. Holiday cards are a quick and easy way to share a little love with friends and family. I love the gold foil detail on the design I picked out. I chose one of the photos we had taken on a recent trip to Maui. I will forever be a beach baby and was excited to share a photo from our trip with everyone. I love how easy it was to look through the creative designs of the cards and pick one that felt like me. With a curated collection of designs to choose from, I decided to narrow my search by gold foil. Love the touch that gold foil adds the perfect amount of holiday sparkle. I wanted a bold graphic look and I love how the card came out looking luxe and personalized.

The second gift which I absolutely love is this customized Photo Book. I have been dragging my feet trying to think of how to share wedding photos with both my parents and Blake’s parents and I loved the idea of creating a photo book with no text, just rich images of our special day. The process started with choosing my initial layout which was Modern White. I knew I wanted the book to be all photos and no text so I chose a modern and clean template to start with. Then, I imported all the photos I wanted to add into the book. What’s great is that there are ton of template designs with different image orientations so you can give the book a totally unique feel. I chose a lot of oversized image spreads to show off the beautiful photography from my wedding photographer, Alison Conklin Photography. I was able to go back and forth and really make the book perfect. Once I designed the photos how I wanted them, I actually ordered 4 copies. One for my grandma who will love a book to flip through and show her friends, and one for Blake and I to put on our coffee table. They turned out so great. I went for the hard cover to give them a more finished feel. Hope I can inspire some early gifting creativity this holiday season.
