You all know how much I LOVE my little Lola. She is such an important part of our family. We are always looking at what we can do better as pet parents to make sure Lola is living her best life. That means weekly visits to the beach of course. This pup is spoiled but honestly, pets are meant to be loved to the max and deserve every little bit of extra love. We are always looking at Lola’s diet and trying new foods and diet plans to see what works for her on many levels. People often forget the importance of the food they feed their pet is just as important as the food they eat themselves. The important sustainable and fresh whole foods are very important to me when it comes to her daily meals. This means grass-fed, cage-free, or wild caught proteins. If I get to feed myself the best organic and fresh foods, Lola deserves the best too. What you put into their little bellies reflects their health and energy. So if I am eating good whole foods, so is Lola. I was excited to be introduced to raw food diets. I have been reading a lot about them and a lot of Lola’s dog friends are on raw diets. I have given Lola raw food treats in the past but never switched her diet. Enter Stella and Chewy’s. I always see their iconic red food bags at my local pet store and have been dying to give them a try. Let’s be honest, Lola LOVES food so it wasn’t going to be a hard sell to get her to try something new. I gradually switched her food over to the Stella and Chewy’s Raw Blend Kibble. What I love so much about this food is that I was able to work raw into my furry family’s diet. It’s a way to feed healthy grain-free kibble AND get some raw into Lola’s diet.  Big win for me. Obviously Lola loves the food and smoothly transitioned to it with no stomach problems at all. It’s super high in protein and grain, gluten, and potato-free which I love. The Kibble is gently baked at 200 degrees. Did you know that almost all kibble is baked at 500 degrees? It’s really great to have something that’s less processed and retains more nutrients. All in all, my first experience in raw food has been a huge success. Are any of you dog mom’s or dog dad’s feeding your furry family raw diets? Would love to hear your experiences in the comments below. Big thanks to Stella and Chewy’s for letting Lola dip her paws into the raw diet world. Love everything you stand for and what you are doing for all the dogs out there that need a more healthy approach to eating.

This post is a collaboration with Stella & Chewy’s.
Big thank you for supporting all eat/sleep/wear collabs!
