One of the great things about being pregnant during the warmer months means that I can get away with wearing dresses pretty much 24/7. Also it means that I can find all my favorite non maternity brands to keep my maternity wear purchases…

GUYS I am moving and shaking through the second trimester (and currently 24 weeks pregnant as I write this). I figured it would be more helpful and fun to share more frequent updates than just first, second and third trimester. I feel like…

Amanda - I did not have IVF but I did a lot of the genetic testing I believe you did after getting pregnant. To ease my mind but also because I have a family history of health issues. At my anatomy scan the ultrasound tech marked 3 CPC in my son’s brain. I say all this to let you know that I’m watching my now 2 year old son chase his father for an Oreo . Pregnancy is scary no matter what but worth it. I will say my kid was over due a week and ended up being over 10 when he was born so if you’re scared of anything be scared for that ReplyCancel

Eve - Glad you’re doing so well. Good to hear you got relief from the migraines too. I hope I’m not giving unwanted advice here but I also had pregnancy migraine a few times & have found spraying pure magnesium oil on my neck & should on the side where I get the pain to be very helpful. It also helps me to sleep a little more. If you do want to try it make sure you get a pure one as most have essential oils that are not recommended for pregnancy in them.
So happy for you that baby is doing well. XReplyCancel

Anna - Hi Kimberly, great post!
I have been taking dhea for the past 6 months to prep for ivf no3. Sort of self medicated as my dr was a bit weird. When i started the ivf the dr said i can take it. It feels like he is not very experienced with dhea.

Anyhow, i just had my egg retrieval. Out of 5, 4 fertilised and seems like good quality. We went for all freeze option and in the next cycle will be next month. I am unsure when i should stop taking the dhea before FET. Have you got any advice?

    Thanks
    Anna

    Ps. Congratulations.ReplyCancel

eat.sleep.wear. - Anna, Wishing you the best of luck moving into your FET. I am honestly not a doctor so for me to give you that kind of advice I am very hesitant. Maybe talk to a trusted nurse at your doctors office if you don’t vibe that well with your doctor and ask for their advice based on your medical history? Wish I could be more help to you but wishing you success with your upcoming transfer! xo, KimReplyCancel

Tracie - Thank you for blogging your ivf journey. When I got my first transfer I was told I was pregnant then two days later I lost it. That’s when my heart sank. This month is my second fet and tomorrow I am going to get my blood test to find if I am pregnant or not.

I was told that everyone will have different symptom of early pregnancy sign. I was wondering what was yours?ReplyCancel

Wishing you all the luck in the world as you wait for your results. I didn’t have too many early symptoms personally. I know everyone, and everybody is so different. Wishing you the best! xo, KimReplyCancel

    Lucy - Hi,

I’m currently undergoing my first FET with transfer looking to be next week. I was just wondering when you stopped taking the CoQ10, I’m taking this now and have been for a few months but wasn’t sure when to stop.
    Thanks so much
