This recipe has been on repeat in this house. It’s ridiculously easy and to call it a recipe is even a stretch. Basically it’s a “dump and cook” kinda meal and you know what? This Trader Joe’s bruschetta sauce is made of…

I wrote the beginning of this post a few months ago and just finished it yesterday. One of my biggest joys is being able to share my motherhood journey with you all. From the bottle of my heart, thank you for following along…

Ashley - Thank you for sharing!! My lil guy is 10 months and I was just thinking today that I needed to figure out a plan. It is such a special bond that I’m not quite ready to stop. I’m definitely bookmarking this post to come back to when it’s time for me to get serious about weaning. Thank you!ReplyCancel

Elsie - This post came at the perfect time for me! My son Jet is almost 14 months old and I’ve been trying to slowly drop feeds, but I’d course a stomach bug had him back to nursing a ton! Does Otis still drink formula? Trying to figure out the proper transition! I know every babe is different though. Thanks for sharing your story!ReplyCancel

eat.sleep.wear. - So glad it came at the right time! Otis is on all cows milk now. We still gave him formula after 1 as we transitioned to milk 🙂
We didn’t force the milk and always had the formula as backup. Hope this helps! xo, KimReplyCancel

Otis is currently 16 months old and has been graduated from his helmet for a whole 6 months now! The photos above were the day he got his helmet off!! We had a dance party, we went out for sushi, we celebrated our…

Denice quiz - Was it hard for Otis to adjust in the beginning? My daughter has a hard time sleeping on it at night. It has been so tough. Any advice? Thank you.ReplyCancel

eat.sleep.wear. - Otis wasn’t affected with sleep luckily but he is also a super solid sleeper to begin with. Otis didn’t struggle too much at the beginning. My best advice would be to not over dress baby at night so they don’t overheat. We avoided socks and made sure to keep him in lighter pjs (or just a onesie and swaddle, or onesie and sleep sack) to make sure he wasn’t hot sleeping since the helmet makes them hotter. The first week is the biggest adjustment but these babies are SO resilient!! Just be patient I know it will get easier. BEST OF LUCK!! You got this mama. xoxo KimReplyCancel

Olivia - Hello! Thank you for sharing your journey – our son just graduated from his helmet journey as well! Question for you: did Otis have a flat spot at the top back of his head when you were done? If so, has it grown out more since he finished treatment/has gotten older? If not, have you simply seen his head continue to round out as he gets older? Just wondering what to expect!ReplyCancel

eat.sleep.wear. - Hi! So Otis will never have the absolute PERFECT round head but because of the helmet his head looks great and continues to look great! His head gets better for sure. I would do the helmet again in a heart beat! xo, KimReplyCancel
