Snow Queen

New Year’s Eve was still a snowy scene in Philly. As much as the snow was still there, it was starting to warm up just in time for our big night out! As you know from my previous post, Morgan and Merl were both in town for the weekend. Brian cooked us some hearty eggs and breakfast potatoes and we were ready to go out shopping. We each needed some last minute additions to our New Year’s ensembles so we headed to center city. I was looking for the perfect pair of platform heels and for some reason, probably because I waited till the last minute, every store was sold out of my size in the styles I was looking for. Luckily, we finally made it to Macy’s and Morgan spotted the PERFECT pair of platform mary janes for me. SCORE. You should see them shortly 😉 We hoofed around town till our feet hurt and we made our way back to my apartment. Merl was kind enough to take my outfit pics for me this day. It was great because I got the chance to wear the harness that she custom made for me. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS THING! I have admired her harness’ from a far and finally decided to take the plunge and order one. I talked with her about what I wanted and told her I wanted something that was mostly gold with lots of structural chains and an edgy vibe. I also asked if she could add in a little bit of black chain. At first we didn’t know how that would work but it turned out absolutely GORGEOUS. I wore it a different way on New Year’s eve so stay tuned.

It’s always great when we have a guest photographer come visit because I can get a goofy picture of me and Brian. How cute is this face!??!
