I am very excited to share with you that I have become an ambassador for Warby Parker Eyewear! I know, I am freaking out myself!! I’m a huge advocate for them in their mission of style as well as philanthropy.

My number one pick right now is the Tenley / outfit previously seen here

The company was started by 4 friends who decided that good quality and fashionable eyewear should be attainable. They sell their glasses with frames and lenses for under $100 bucks! HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?! I have worn glasses since 1st grade and have always thought that paying $400 for a pair of glasses was absurd. Especially since I’m pretty blind as a bat, I have been wearing glasses and more and more frequently. Wanting to change my style and keep my look fresh, I was on the hunt for a new pair of glasses when I stumbled upon Warby Parker. Their modern take on vintage styles are not only stylish but affordable. DING DING DING. You had me at $100 dollars. The other reason why I feel very strongly about supporting their company is their mission to help people in need. For every pair of glasses they sell, they donate one to someone in need. I find this to be incredibly inspiring. I love the idea by making a decision to purchase something, you can be making your own little difference in someones life.

Above: loved the round feel of the Begley / Below: casual in the Preston

I had a great time running around, trying on frame after frame after frame!  Their space was so modern and friendly with light pouring in the windows. They even had a few stations of iMacs set up to place your orders right there when you come in for an appt. All in all, GREAT day at Warby Parker and I am so excited to be an ambassador for their these cool cats. A big thanks to Brian from WP for coming in to meet me while I was in town!

I look forward to getting my new frames in the mail! Check out Warby Parker on facebook some of their latest news. Watch out guys, glasses aren’t geeky anymore! xo, Kim
