Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

It was blue skies and sunshine for last Saturday’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. I was excited to attend my first polo match and see what this was all about. Picnic blankets covered the green grass at Liberty State Park as we sipped champagne, gazed at the statue of liberty, and got a chance to catch up with friends while waiting for the match to start. I think any excuse to get outside and celebrate is good enough for me! Everyone really gets dolled up in their best hats and fascinators, beautiful dresses, and bow ties. You name it, it’s there. I went for a very “Pretty Woman” look. My closet was all packed up from my move but luckily I had this polka dot skirt out which was perfect for my take on Julia Robert’s epic dress. It was a great day of people watching and enjoying this classic sport.

Such a great day! Thanks to Veuve Clicquot for the magical day.
