Holiday season means parties on parties. Getting all your friends and family together is my favorite part of this time of year. You over indulge in great food and always great drinks. I LOVE a good cocktail and was excited to partner up with Absolut to raise the energy of my holiday nights with by trying out a new cocktail recipe inspired by the new limited edition Absolut Electrik bottle. LOVE the mirrored bottle (it comes in two colors – electric blue and silver!). Adds a little sparkle to my bar cart.
My hubby loves martinis so I wanted to add a little winter twist to his cocktail. I have more candy canes at my house than I care to admit and wanted to incorporate them somehow. I also wanted a sweet treat at the end of a dinner party. I made Peppermint Martinis! Recipe is below. Hope you enjoy it! Peppermint Martini
5 oz Absolut OriginalVodka
.5 oz Peppermint Schnapps
2 oz Coffee Liquor
crushed candy canes to rim the martini glass
candy canes for garnish
Rim martini glass with crushed candy canes. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour all ingredients over the ice. Cover cocktail shaker and shake; strain into a martini glass. Enjoy!
