Subtle Maternity

If you have been following me on Instagram and watch my stories, you will know that the baby bump is FINALLY making an appearance. I feel like it almost happened over night around week 19. CRAZY. I am now in this awkward stage where my pants are really not fitting and everything piece of clothing I put on is just tight enough that I look fat, and not pregnant. The magical little bump just isn’t big enough to really look like pregnancy just yet. I am sure that will happen soon but for now I have been wearing looser pieces, which I normally wore before pregnancy, rather than tighter pieces showing my new changing body. I have only bought very few maternity pieces up until now because I wan’t to try to hold off as long as possible. On a whim, I ordered these pants from Hatch and I have to say, they are freaking amazing. While they come with a hefty price tag, I love the fact that they are very subtle maternity in that the front of the pants looks like a normal trouser and you have a stretchy waist band in the back that I can cover with my shirt. These are kind of epic and I know I will be able to wear them after pregnancy which I love. It’s hard to justify all these purchased for such a seemingly small time in your life, but I am getting to the point when it comes to pants, I need to buy some options so I can be comfortable and not squish little baby boy. Pregnancy is so wild with all the body changes and it’s so important to find some clothes that make me feel happy and confident. And also so I am not wearing legging and gym clothes every day! HA. Excited to share how I style the bump as baby keeps growing!!
