I am not going to lie, wearing denim while pregnant is an EXTREME challenge. At a certain point, the whole rubber band around through your button trick just doesn’t cut it. Early on, I decided to invest in some maternity denim so that I could actually wear it and be more comfortable. I am a below the bump denim girl (I hate things over my belly!) so it was more challenging to find pieces below the bump that I loved. While I currently could not even stomach the idea of putting on any denim with 3.5 weeks till my due date, a few weeks ago was a different story. I picked these shorts up at A Pea In the Pod and they were the perfect denim addition for Summer. I just wanted to have one of those normal Summer outfits and throw on a t-shirt and shorts and call it a day. Pregnancy can make that challenging. HA! But what I love is that this shirt is NOT maternity. I always love my shirts a little more on the loose flowy side and this one was just long enough to cover my bump and tuck in. Great because I can wear it after baby when it’s still warm out here in SoCal. It’s another heatwave this week so basically I will be trying everything possible to help my swollen feet. If you follow me on instagram you know I call my right foot “fat foot” now because of how much my right foot has been swelling because of the heat. So if you need me, I will be sitting working on my laptop elevating my feet as much as I can! I also have a VERY exciting shoot on Tuesday to finally take photos of the living/dining room redesign I have been working on with Anne. Can not wait to share how it turned out with you all.
