Sea of Blonde

This past Friday, I topped my week off the best way possible. Friend Friday!!! My good friend Andrea knew she would be in driving distance of Philly so she came into town for the day. I met her and Brian for a late lunch at Reading Terminal Market for lunch. Andrea remembered when I took here there the last time she came to visit and wanted a cupcake from one of my favorite places, Flying Monkey. Mmm even just writing about it now make me salivate for one. We grabbed some lunch, scarfed it down and then picked out our cupcakes. I got a mint mojito and Andrea got a pumpkin flavored cuppy.

After lunch, we strolled around and Brian snapped some pics of us. It was basically me and her simultaneously chuckling about happy we were to be reunited!! Of course I headed back to work while Andrea met up with some friends of hers.

And now for the outfit!

Lulu’s
sent me these KILLER JC boots. OBSESSED! And were perfect for my winter walk to work.

I love how Andrea and I can be goofy together! These are priceless.

After work, I was excited to meet up with her, her bud, and Veronika of Tick Tock Vintage for a glass of wine. We were the only people in the place gagging about anything and everything. It was so nice to finally meet her after lots of tweeting and emails! Veronica you are a doll and I can’t wait to have our bake day.

After drinks, Andrea and I headed back to my place and we enjoyed some chili that Brian made and just hung out until I had to bring her to the train station. We munched on cookies while we waited for the train. Indulgence people. It’s the holidays and there are cookies everywhere!! I was so happy and lucky to see my little blondie even though it wasn’t for that long. I would lie if I didn’t almost shed a tear when she was leaving. Why is Michigan so far?!? I’m looking forward to seeing her in a few months!!

Veronika and I meeting for the first time!

All photos courtesy of the lovely Andrea!
