[hat + top: h&m / skirt: american apparel / socks: madewell / espadrilles: c/o nine west /
necklaces: f21 + clydes rebirth / sunnies: forever 21]

This weekend I enjoyed some time outside of the city at the Jersey Shore. I was excited to go walk by the water and just soak in the sunshine. I got the chance to wear my summery new hat and my new pair of espadrilles! I teamed up with Nine West to participate in their “Must Lust” Espadrille Style Out. So I grabbed 2 flowy spring pieces and paired them with my stray hat for the perfect bayside ensemble. The thin socks kept my little toes toasty in the breeze.

We spent time watching the boats drift by us and then finally put some fishing rods in the water and caught some nice winter flounder. Yes, I love to fish with Brian and his Dad. And many weekends during the warm months you can find me down the shore with a rod in hand and a big smile on my face. So for now, I will be dreaming of the warm weather months. Hope everyone had a sunny weekend!

Absolutely Mrs. K - pale and peachy colors can be so tricky and they will look horrible with the wrong skin tone. but these colors look fabulous with your blond hair. i love the easy breezy vibe of the sea. the pink lipstick looks smashing, not an obvious choice to wear a color like that with the outfit but it works really well. i love the hat, that is the perfect summer hat. the shoes look fabulous, i love the neutral color. and i am so in love with the blouseReplyCancel

SweetLaundry - You look great in this top. I tried it on in white the other day, and I didn’t end up buying it, but I may go back and get it for summer. I thought maybe I could wear it with skinny jeans, but it looks great with a long skirt too. That hat is dynamite. Also, espadrilles/strappy wedges are on the top of my list for footwear this seaon. These ones from Nine West are super cute!ReplyCancel

Meesh - This is gorgeous. Usually a flowy top and long skirt will make someone look like they’re drowning in clothes, but these pieces look great together.ReplyCancel

EricaVee - This outfit is so chic but so easy and comfy-looking! I love that you took two things people normally say are style no-no’s–socks with sandals and pairing a flowy top and bottom–and totally rocked them. Sooo awesome.ReplyCancel
