October is a very important month for woman everywhere. It marks National Breast Cancer Awareness month. It’s such an important time to talk with the special woman in your life about stepping away from their busy schedules and lives to take a moment for themselves and take action. Breast cancer has run in my family and unfortunately I have lost a loved one to it. So when the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization asked if I could help spread awareness I was eager to spread the word. So today I wear my pink jacket in honor of the cause. Remember that regular screening tests can help find breast cancer early —when it’s most treatable. Visit www.komen.org/GetScreened for more information and to find resources near you. Take action!
