If there is one thing everyone should invest in for their closet, it is a classic black leather jacket. Depending on your style, it might be a different fit than mine but I have found that if I can only bring one jacket with me on a trip, it is always a leather jacket. It’s a versatile layer that never gets old. While leather jackets are SUPER pricey, you want to invest in one you can wear over and over. So stick to black or a neutral tone like tan or brown so you can get the most wear out of it. I have always been a huge fan of IRO leather jackets. I have super long arms and have a hard time finding jackets that fit without being too short in the arms. It’s a pricey investment but I have to say I am obsessed with their jackets. I do size up and usually wear a size 40 in these more cropped styles to ensure I have enough space to layer. Remember, it’s not always about what the size reads when you buy clothes, it’s about how it FITS and feels.
