I was in no way prepared for this frigid Thanksgiving at the beach. But it was a great time to stay cozy inside with family. The turkey coma rendered me lazy all weekend! Sad to disappoint but when it comes to black friday, I take refuge in my cozy bed and wake up and have big cup of tea and smile to myself that I am not in that shopping madness. Kudos to those that braved the crowds, you are brave, brave souls. Brian and I did get a chance to pop down to the beach for a BRISK walk. It was completely empty of people and beautiful. I was freezing my butt off but this scarf definitely saved my life. I do have an affinity for yellow things so this scarf was a no brainer thing for me to buy. It reminds me of Andrea’s scarf that I lusted after all winter last year. Zara is a dangerous place for me because I would buy the whole store if that was possible. But for this time, It was this scarf (which I plan on buying in another color!), sweater, and purse I snagged on sale. I think I will have to put a gift card from Zara on my Christmas wish list 😉 Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Let the holiday season begin!!! xo

Santina - I love being alone on the beach. Lucky for me, if I get up early enough, I can do it every day now that I’m living in a beach town. I love this bundled up look! And, really, it’s not fair that your legs look THAT long in flat boots!
eat.sleep.wear. - hahahahah. its an optical illusion! lol. xo, Kim

Andrea Garland - Love the color mix 😀 my mum is knitting her a mustard scarve. 😀
Pretty Shiny Sparkly - Love that you mixed mustard with another earthy color! It’s all so balanced by the dark jeans and the pale handbag. You look like you’re having so much fun!

liana - gorgeous pictures! love the everything about the outfit too, although i don’t know how you managed to brave the cold weather at the beach! as much as i love the ocean, i am too much of a wimp to brave the coldness that goes along with it! 😛

That scarf looks soo cozy, it must be nice to just put your head in there , like a little turtle =P
I like the sweater, and the jacket !! I think wearing boots, esp, waterproof, like faux leather boots to a beach is awesome, that way you dont get sand all over your shoes, and maybe you can even go into the water! =)
