Confetti in the Park

New Year’s Day is always a really fun and interesting day to be roaming around the city. It’s filled with Mummers and hungover party people everywhere. I ventured out with my weekend guests Morgan and Merl to go give them the experience of the Mummer’s Parade. There was lots of strutting. That was for sure! I took a little mini video of Mayor Nutter strutting with a band around city hall. Eventually we had our fill of parade and headed to Rittenhouse Square to sit and enjoy the mild weather, and take some photos of course! Scroll down for photos of my outfit and some extra goodies!

We still had tons of left over confetti from the night before that Brian had stuffed in his jacket pockets. Needless to say, we played with the confetti! Lol. Like my gold NYE hat?! I know, its breathtaking. LOL!

After goofing off in the park, we all headed to Pub and Kitchen for a tasty tasty 4 pm brunch (Yes, 4 pm). It was so fun because our friend Dustin knew EVERYONE at the restaurant and I couldn’t help but notice the hostess and her adorable outfit. Funny when I talked to her that I found out she reads eat.sleep.wear. SMALL WORLD! And girl, you are adorable 😉 So nice to see these things come full circle. It ended up being a great great day of lots of chatting, mimosas and then a lot of movie watching. Let’s be honest, any day that involves champagne and confetti is alright with me!
