A few weeks ago, I headed to the Franklin Institute to check out a special exhibit for Leonardo da Vinci. Brian and I headed there with our neighbors for a night of science! Usually when you hit those things up at odd hours the admission prices are also reduced. Tricks of the trade 😉 It was a slow and casual Saturday and a bit warmer. I wanted nothing but to roll out of bed and be dressed. So I went with the most unfussy thing I could think of. My go to puffy sweater shorts and this slouchy tiger top. Done and done. I also can’t get enough of my new glasses which I have been wearing almost every single day. It’s great at the museum that they have this huge open space where they project graphics and have light shows and it was perfect to snap off some photos on our way out for the night. Nothing like enriching your mind on a Saturday night. Living in a city, sometimes you forget all the great educational resources right at your fingertips. Take this as a reminder to take advantage of the things around you. Things on my to do list for the spring: Philadelphia Zoo, picnic by the Schuylkill River, copious trips to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, dessert dates and coffee with Brian all over the city!
On a side note, as many of you have already heard via twitter, I am SO excited to have been chosen to be one of Coach’s Guest Bloggers! Absolutely Mrs. K - okay i completely fell in love with that divine t-shirt, how gorgeous can a t-shirt be. is it sparkling, i just cannot stop looking at it. i love the combination with the shorts, it is very casual but that’s what is makes it interesting. the leather jacket is the finishing touch. your glasses are perfect, it is a little bit of a 50’s look, but i like it, it makes your eyes so much bigger.
MG - Love the tiger t-shirt. It’s so much fun!

Jeannee - That slouchy tiger top – WOW. I never thought I would see that again! 28 years ago, I helped my then-boyfriend purchase it for his sister for a Christmas present – he was doubtful that Donna would like it. SHE LOVED IT! She literally wore it out! Thanks for the sweet memories, Kimberly, the woman w/ the terrific flats :>
