Excited to bring you another post in collaboration with UGG Australia as part of their Creative Council. I first launched this collab here and we are ready for part two! This time it’s all about Summer sandals and bright pops of color. Today’s mission was to share how my city expresses itself with color. I have been a city girl for a good part of my adult life and alot of that landscape is always changing. Going to school in Philadelphia, one of my favorite things was the street art in the city. It has one of the biggest Mural Arts Programs in the country. It’s something I look for in each city I live in. As I have been exploring my new neighborhood in LA, I am always excited to discover new murals I have never seen before. They add the most beautiful bold colors to an otherwise dusty and bland alley way. As Summer is quickly approaching and everything is blooming, these murals create the perfect canvas for the beginning of the hot summer months. In true celebration of the heat, I wear minimal layers and always a pair of sandals. If I am wearing simple pieces they have to have some kind of flare to them. These sandals have beautiful feminine little ties around the ankle that keep them looking unique. For my dress, this little drop waist ruffle is flirty and fun. Also, I am a sucker for a dress with pockets!
