Blackbird

If you can’t tell by the beaming smile on my face, this weather has me pumped for Summer. As I reorganize my closet I have been going through and finding all my favorite whites for the approaching warmer weather. That means cleansing my shoe closet as well. Living closer to the beach I have been adding more classic leather flats to my collection especially sandals. Things that I can step on the beach, shake them out, and still look dresses up enough to head to a sunset cocktail. Was excited to finally be introduced to beek. They have got California cool down and when I went to look at their collection I can literally see myself wearing everything. A good leather sandal is such a classic investment and love that they will mold to my feet in time. What I particularly LOVE is that with every purchase, beek donates a meal to a child in need in their commitment to end child hunger worldwide.

Summer for me involves tons of little adventures up and down the coast. This particular day was spend on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. This tiny little town might be one of my favorite places. They have a small little downtown but what I love most is walking up and down these paths right next to bay checking out all the amazing homes. Where is your Summertime happy place?
