At Home with GILT

Excited to be partnering up with GILT again today. Hosting dinner parties and having friends over is one of my fav activities. I love intimate gatherings where you are all able to talk and spend quality time together. I love a crisp and modern tablescape. I love to use white dishes to really let the color of the food pop. I also add some pops of color with my florals or napkins. Like my style, modern and cool is the way I go when it comes to home entertaining. My menu was an appetizer inspired dinner with some added salad to round it out. I LOVE an appetizer only dinner as long as I stock up on enough meats, cheese, and add a salad for something green and healthy. Crisp white wine (I served Sauvignon blanc) is a great addition and usually a crowd pleaser in this house. For the table settings, I went white with modern square edged flatware. Also love this little mustache bottle opener from Jonathan Adler. Seriously the cutest fun accents to my dinner party. When throwing a dinner party, I think the most important thing is not making things to complicated so you can actually enjoy your own party. Luckily, I have the best friends who always show up early and give me a hand cutting the bread and bringing everything to the table. It only takes some small details to pull together a beautiful curated evening. Big thanks to GILT for letting me play hostess with you.
