You can call this my Cali Holiday Uniform: Cashmere Sweater, Boyfriend Jeans, Duster Jacket and slides. DONE. While I talk to my family and they are getting dumped on by snow, I can’t help but send them some of this California sunshine. Growing up on the East Coast you can really FEEL the season change and gear up for the Holidays. In SoCal… you barely know that Summer has turned to Fall that has turned to Winter because basically the weather just stays the same but gets colder when the sun goes down. I always make sure to make my own Holiday traditions here to get me into the spirit. I always go to Disneyland to see all the decorations. We actually ended up buying an annual SoCal pass!!!! We picked them up last week and even got a dose of fake snow on Main Street. It was so magical I almost started hysterically balling. Another tradition is seeing the Newport Beach Boat parade. We went to dinner with friends on Saturday night with a premier spot to see the boats go by. Another thing I always do is take a walk around Balboa Island. It’s basically the cutest place of all time and the residents go all out on decorations and lights. So we take Lola, and walk the bay path and take in the sights. I think it’s so important to create your own traditions during the Holidays. It’s those special moments you carve out for yourself with your loved ones that makes this time of year so special. So if you don’t have any traditions yet, not to fear, jot down some ideas and start crossing them off your list before the New Year. Happy brainstorming.

eat.sleep.wear. - Thanks lady! xo
Natali - You said it so well… It’s those little things and own traditions which we create that make our holidays/ Christmas special and an “own” one. In Finland we really do feel season change and as much as I dislike the cold and tons of snow for way too many months of the year, I couldn’t imagine my Christmas in any other way.
You are looking great in this casual and laidback combo!
