This past weekend we spent at a cabin in Big Bear and we just had the perfect little weekend getaway. We drove up Friday morning and checked in and hung out waiting for everyone to arrive. There was snow in the forecast for Friday night so we basically camped out inside, cozy under blankets by the fire. We made frozen pizzas, played board games, and of course played with the pups. Let’s talk about trying to be cute when it’s cold out… since moving to Southern California, it’s really never THIS level cold unless you head to the mountains. Crisp 20 degrees but casually trying to show of my outfit for you guys! Honestly, I just wear chunky knits with denim or workout pants when I am in a winter destination. This sweater is all kinds of amazing.  I ended up wearing it as a robe the rest of the weekend. Perfect for staying cozy and wrapping myself up. I am ALWAYS cold so I need thick layers in my life for a trip like this.
