Preppy Friday

Something has me feeling super preppy today and I think it’s the sweater insert with the stripes paired with the sneakers. I have owned this blazer for a few years now and what I love most about it is that I can switch out the inside collar and sleeves to give this blazer a whole new feel each time I wear it. Now I know its VERY pricey but it’s one of those classic pieces that I will invest in especially since I can wear it so many ways with the inserts. I have the hoodie and this camo insert and love to mix and match them. In other news this pair of jeans has been one of my favorite purchases over the last few months. I picked them up at Nordstrom and love that they have a lot of stretch and have the asymmetrical hem. They will transition perfectly from the colder months to the warmer ones. One little tip: I don’t know what it is with black denim but I sized up 2 sizes in these to ensure they were comfy and cozy. I know that sounds crazy but it just proves the point that size is not just a number. I am very picky when it comes to buying denim and the size number means nothing to me if it doesn’t fit right. So if you are looking at this pair of jeans, order 2 sizes and exchange the other to be sure you get that perfect fit.
