This anniversary was so special to us. We got married on Maui 3 years ago (you can read all about it here!) and decided to try our best to come back every year to celebrate. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the island and waited another 2 years to return because of all of our IVF and fertility treatments. Needless to say, this was on freaking SPECIAL trip that we have looked forward to and planned for a long, long time. We had stayed at the Four Seasons Maui both on our wedding trip and our 1 year anniversary trip and it hands down continues to be one of my favorite destinations in the world. I know I gushed on IG stories while we were there, but it’s so incredible. The service and hospitality are why we keep coming back for more. And what I love is it comes with a very unpretentious vibe. It’s high end, but you feel so comfortable and welcomed. While I want to be completely honest with you and let you know that the Four Seasons Maui is now a good friend of mine, they did throw in some extras into our trip to make it extra memorable which we were so grateful for. They followed along with our fertility journey and wanted to share in our celebration and it just melts my heart to have connected with people in my industry in that way. FOUR SEASONS MAUI I LOVE YOU TO PIECES. We did pay for our stay and this post is in no way sponsored. I am so passionate about this property (I know that sounds crazy but its SO TRUE) and wanted to share a closer look at what we did while we stayed there. Apologies for the million photos below but have a little write up breaking them up! Vacations can be so pricey for everyone and we saved for this one for a long time. I got so many messages from you all saying how much you also loved staying here and makes me to SO happy to hear. We also got a lot of questions while on Maui if we were affected by the active volcanos that have been devastating the Big Island of Hawaii. Air quality for us as well as everything else was business as usual. We were not affected at all during our trip if you were looking to visit soon. Scroll down for more on what we did!

The Serenity Adult Pool // Basically adult paradise!!!! I DREAM about this infinity pool. For all my adults out there with no families (or a babysitter) this pool is EPIC. It’s adult only (21 and over) gated pool separate from the main pool area on the property. Tons of gorgeous cabanas, which we got to test out one day! Blake was excited because he got to turn on the basketball game while we were at the pool. We also got there early and ordered breakfast straight to our chairs. The pool has a swim up bar too so if you are craving a cocktail (or in my case a mocktail) you can grab your drink and enjoy the view. It’s so relaxing and we savored every moment since next time we come we will have a little one with us and we will be at the kids pool with a big smile on our face.
Main Pool + Beach // When we were not at the Serenity Pool, we hung out closer to the beach. There are tons of beach chairs lining the beach walk that runs along the edge of the resort next to the beach. We always try to snag a spot so we have a great view for the day while we read and catch some sun. Then we hop into the pool for a dip or take a walk to the beach to dip in the ocean. The poolside service is always top notch and we always end up ordering drinks, smoothies and lunch to our seats. Blake rented a paddle board for an hour one day but I stayed on dry land instead 😉
The Ultimate Dinner // On our actually anniversary, May 28th, The Four Seasons surprised Blake and I with a very special package that they offer: The Ultimate Dinner. They set up a private table at the edge of the property where we could sip drinks and watch sunset together in probably one of the most romantic dinners I have ever been to. We met with the chef that would prepare our meal when we checked into the hotel and went over what kinds of foods we loved etc and he created a CUSTOM menu for our dinner. I don’t think I have ever been this spoiled. And as someone with a lot of food allergies, this really made my day to have a custom meal configured. A waiter served us through sunset while the table was lit with candles, music playing on a speaker behind us… it was… perfect. It was an experience of a lifetime. I am still pinching myself we got to experience this.
The Spa // On each of our visits here, we ALWAYS make time to get a couples massage. What is unique here is that we always get a couples massage in the gorgeous oceanside huts. You can see and hear the water from the hut so no need for serene music because all you need is the sound of the ocean. I have told you guys before that I have been making sure to treat myself to prenatal massage throughout my pregnancy and the massages here are always out of this world.
Food, Rooms, and Property // One of the things I love most about this resort is that you never have to leave. What I mean is there are tons of food options and restaurants so if you are the type to sit and plant yourself in the chair and never leave your resort, you can totally do that here. One of my favorite things was coming down for breakfast to the buffet. Everyone RAVED about the pancake station there… OH. MY. GOD. BEST PANCAKES AWARD. I got the blueberry pancakes almost every day. So damn good. The rooms themselves are so spacious and cozy, I would always wake up early because of the time change and go out on the patio and check out the sunrise. Basically when we had to pack up to leave on the last day, I almost threw a fit because I didn’t want to leave. Leave it to hormones… but thank goodness I didn’t start crying and make Blake feel awkward. HA! This was basically my dream vacation and we soaked in every bit of sun and love we could. Babies first trip to Maui and won’t be his last!
I plan to share a bigger round up and Maui travel guide soon but wanted to share these beautiful memories with you all as we head into the weekend. And as always, I am always happy to answer any questions you all may have in the comments below, through email, on IG, where ever! I love chatting with you all so much. Have a great weekend.
