This last few weeks have been full of firsts for Otis. Blake always jokes with me that EVERYTHING for Otis is a first, which is of course very true. But it still means that every new holiday and special occasion is emotional for me in the best way possible. Being able to share these new experience with our little Oats makes my heart melt. We headed to our favorite local pumpkin patch with full intention of taking some family photos to capture the moment. Having photoshoots with a newborn is HARD AF. Let me tell you. I fed him right before we went into the farm and knew we would have a very small window of time to have him in good spirits. Luckily we didn’t have any major meltdowns! But we did have some frowns and cries. But its all part of it. We walked the farm for about 30 minutes, picked out a few pumpkins at checkout, and headed out. Activities are sure a lot different with a newborn little one but I wouldn’t change a thing. My favorite photo of this bunch is Otis “standing” on the pumpkin. Those shoes, those little thighs, that expression. I love him more than words.
