Clean Home

A lot of things have changed at our house since being pregnant, having a baby, and now having a little one crawling around our house. I feel like I spent so much time worrying about what skincare was safe to use while pregnant, what your eating etc and now breastfeeding you want to be sure you are doing all the right things to not expose your little ones to anything unsafe. I quickly forget that there are so many other things to consider in my daily life that will affect everyone in my family not only Otis. When it comes to home cleaning products, I feel like I didn’t think twice to use the same old stuff. But now with Otis crawling around, pulling himself on everything from chairs to the door jams, it’s so important to me to be more conscious of what products I am using that will be safe for not only him, but also for my pets and ourselves. When Home Made Simple reached out about trying their new line of cleaning products, I jumped at the chance to try them out.

I am always skeptical of those more natural product lines because you really want to know, DO THEY WORK? So I am starting my journey to see just how this line works in our home. So far I have been using the dish soap and the multi-purpose cleaner. We cook a lot at home so I was curious to see how the dish soap stacks up to cleaning our dirty pots and pans and I am happy to report it’s tough on grease but also smells amazing. Same goes for the multi-purpose cleaner. It’s probably one of my most used cleaning tools around the house. Ever since Otis started eating solid foods its safe to say we have had more of a mess to clean up on our dining room table. So we have been using the rosemary scented bottle and it’s been great at keeping things clean since I am constantly wiping down both that area and his highchair since he drops food on his foot rest ALL THE TIME. The dish soap and multi purpose cleaner also come in lavender and lemon scents in addition to the rosemary! I am excited to try the laundry products next and will report back as to how I am liking them. For now, I know I am using some safer products in my home that get the job done.
