Painted Streets

After a hot and humid weekend, Monday is here with a sigh of relief in the form of a rainstorm. HORRAY. Of course I am now soaked but what are you gonna do! I just splash through the puddles on my way to work. I do love how on my walk I can see so many murals in the city. Philly has a program called the Mural Arts Program. It’s a pretty amazing program that unites artists and communities through bringing art and positive messages to the buildings in which they live or work around. Just another reason I love living here. We took these last week since clearly my camera is scared to be anywhere near the outdoors today. I do have to say that I am really digging the resort feel of these shoes I picked up at Target. (Sorry no details, it was about to start raining when we took these last week!) When I saw them I instantly remembered that  Jessica had these and how amazing they looked so I knew I had to pick them up. Target, your great. Stay dry today my east coast friends!

emily - I am loving the way you tied your shirt. And the background is super cool! And may I add I’m a little jealous of your rainstorm. Here in Norfolk there is no rain for days and it’s in 90s. There’s no relief! heheheReplyCancel

    moving on… awkward…
this makes me miss having long hair. altho me=layers=not possible to do a cute slick back bun without a mess.

Ruth - Oh my goodness! I have that tank and I have not worn it just because of the awkward way it was cut along the sides! You are a genius! I’m going to try tying it just like that and see how it works for me. I was sad I couldn’t wear it all summer but it seriously looked a bit too strangely cut for my taste.ReplyCancel
