holland / den bosch

It was another overcast day in Holland for me. But luckily, no rain 🙂 It was so surprising to me how much different the weather was and I am so happy i packed this sweater/coat with me. It SAVED me! It ended up being warm enough to get me by. This town is actually very close to my grandfather’s house called Den Bosch. I can remember coming here ever since I was little to come have lunch, walk around in the market, and do our shopping. It’s small streets are filled with old and beautiful buildings that I can’t help but stare at. I had to pay attention though because if I didn’t, I might be run over by a bicyclist! I was in town with my mom, aunts and cousins to get a drink and take a stroll. We sat outside on the terrace and I enjoyed a hot chocolate with whipped cream. NOM. Sitting down to enjoy a beverage and take in the surroundings is one of my favorite things to do when I travel. We sat and talked and laughed and then made our merry way back through town and to my grandfather’s house.

One thing I always notice when I come to Holland is that EVERYONE is wearing boots. Boots of all different shapes and sizes. Im sure the bicycle culture plays a big part in that. I am definitely glad I brought one pair of boots with me! Even if they were booties.
