One of my lovely sponsors, Jupe Boutique, asked if I participate in a monthly style challenge where they will select a piece to send me to style up. Upon examining all the amazing texture and hole goodness, of course this needed to be layered. Let’s be honest, I couldn’t wear this with just a bra to work. That would NOT have gone over well. I loved the idea of mixing different materials so I chose a silk classic cut blouse to throw on underneath. No extra collars needed, I kept things very clean. I imagine this top working really well in the warmer weather thrown over a maxi dress. How would you style this top?
steffy - love that top! i would probably style it over a more fitted tank with ripped up jean shorts.. but it is much hotter here in fla 🙂

Andrea K (blonde bedhead) - Hahahhaa I’m glad you chose not to wear the sweater with just a bra to work hahahaha. I like how you layered it over the silk top and I just really like these photos. So pretty!!
Absolutely Mrs. K - this is what i call inspiration. show us how you can wear a garment in so many different ways. i love the combination of the two blouses. the black one looks fabulous because of that gorgeous knit. it doesn’t need much more, jeans and a gorgeous jacket and you are good to go.
Plami - Toy styled it great!!!! Love this outfit!!! I love mixing different materials as well 🙂

April - Very cute! And the black & white photos look amazing. I would probably wear that top over a tank dress, belted at the waist, or tucked into a pencil skirt. The possibilities seem endless…
Alicia - I love that you wore it over the silk blouse! And amazing photography (as always). I am always so inspired when I see the photos on your blog! xx
Afternoon Frosting - This crochet top is amazing. I love, I love! xx
Santina - These photos are gorgeous, as usual, Kim! I really like the contrasting lengths with your layers, and I love how your shoes kinda mimic the cutouts in the sweater.
Amber's Notebook - Great styling! Looks great.

Natalie - Oh, I love how you styled that! I am big into layering and this really is great!
Angela - Love these photos in B&W! I would probably pair it with a dress shirt and pleated skirt with some ankle socks and studded boots.
Ashley - Love the night shots and those shoes. You rocked the shirt 🙂
Meesh - Whoa, those shoes look *just* like a pair I had in the 90s, but with a much more modern heel. Cute. (Speaking of the 90s, the crochet top + bra combo you discarded would not have been out of place! I love what you decided to do instead. Layering gives this kind of an easy, relaxed look.) I’d probably style the top over a spaghetti strap tank and tutu skirt with some slouchy boots, if I had to choose a different look.
Megg - You are so stunning, everything you wear is perfection!

Miyan - very well styled! i probably would have wore it in the same way, with jeans and a great materialed button up underneath. love your dolce vita shoes, as well!

MG - Depending on the weather and occasion, this would be brilliant with a bright tank or blouse underneath and either white skinnies or dark pants.
The Bohemienne - What a fun project! That’s a fab top, and you did a great job styling it.
