My California adventure continued from Hollywood to Manhattan Beach. I have always been a beach baby at heart and when I sunk my feet into this sand it was pure bliss. My love of coastal living led me to meet the wonderful people behind the brand Roxy. They wanted to share some of their passions with me like the surf culture and west coast sunshine. So, they invited me to come along on their Fall 2013 Photoshoot to Santa Cruz to experience and document my way through this beautiful place. (More on that later!)
We enjoyed some brunch in Manhattan Beach before our flight and got a chance to soak up a little bit of sun and surf. To me, style at the beach should be easy and care free. I went for some light layers and a pair of trusty oxfords for strolling around. So excited to share more photos with you from my trip.

Katie McC - I’ve only been to the West Coast once but I must say my most favorite place was Malibu and Santa Monica. The beaches there are beyond gorgeous. Plus, it was what I felt most comfortable and familiar with being from a small beach town. That sunset is to die for.
