Spring is officially here in New York with the warmer temperatures and all the blossoming flowers and trees out. That means its time for warm weather footwear. I recently teamed up with one of my favorite shoe companies DSW on a styling project for the season. I have been shopping at DSW for as long as I can remember for a few reasons. I know I can always find my favorite trend pieces there and at a discounted price. This girl loves a bargain so I was super excited to style these babies up.

For the first outfit above, I had a patent color blocked sandal. Colorful patent sandals are a great way to add some punch to your looks this Spring. I love how these shoes instantly dress up this slouchy pair of boyfriend jeans. To play off the color in the sandals, I added a bright silk top to keep in my colorful palette. I think the use of color here means you don’t need to accessorize. So the moral of this story? Color can do all the work! Let your shoes be the statement and pop of color to your look.

For the second look I chose this black and white heel because it is such a great shoe to be mixed and matched with any color. It’s a great piece to have in your closet because of its versatility. What I love to do to keep my look super chic is to go all black and white. Try mixing and matching materials for some more variety in your looks. I went for leather shorts and an athletic style jacket for some texture play on these strappy sandals.

Nothing screams spring and warm weather like white. This white patterned platform heel is a great feminine piece to mix with your Spring wardrobe. What I like to do is mix feminine style with a little bit of edginess. These leather-like pants were the perfect contrast to this floral texture. I love how they can be dressed up for dressed down also. Throwing on this white jean jacket keeps my look laid back for a pulled together look for the day. Easily pair these pumps with a colored dress and fitted blazer for a pulled together look for the night.
