Spring Suede

This past week has me itching for a closet refresh. It’s Spring cleaning in my household and that means going through my closet and seeing what to get rid of. But more importantly, what I need to add into the mix. I am excited to be partnering with EXPRESS to share some of my Spring must haves.

I am looking to infuse texture. Suede can be a great material to mix and match with your closet staples. It can be easy to wear by keeping things neutral. By choosing neutral colors, it easily mixes with the rest of my closet staples. Also now that the weather is heating up I am loving a good mini skirt and adding a casual twist to them with a pair of sneakers or casual flat boot. Such a sucker for the button details. I love how this skirt doesn’t have to be dressy, I can easily dress it down and wear it both ways. I paired a suede cross-body bag with this playful tassel to give my look a little bit of movement. Always a sucker for black accessories. Any pieces you are looking to add into your closet this Spring?

This particular day was a day of meetings and always a coffee date. I love the ritual of going and grabbing a cup of coffee at a local spot. The views aren’t bad either!
