Back when I was in junior high, I used to get perms with my girlfriends because I LOVED having extra curly hair. I don’t know if it’s all the perms or if my hair has changed, but every since then I have always had a natural texture to my hair which is my dream come true. I love having options when it comes to styling my hair and mixing things up. A great thing about curly hair is I can instantly have a messy textured look with little work involved. I am always hunting for products to enhance the texture and curl in my hair. I was excited when got2b wanted to share their newest line of products with me. I remember using these products and stocking up at my local CVS since I was old enough to spend my own money as a teenager. They have always been an authority in haircare and it’s their hair gel I have always been drawn to. Finding a really great hair product is key especially when I can pick it up at a local pharmacy even when I am traveling. Lately, I am embracing my bold lion locks. This is what I call this messy texture. To get the look, I start with the got2b Glam Force Sculpting Gel. My key tip is that a little goes a long way. Since I like my hair to have bold texture and not be too hard to the touch, I take a dime sized amount of gel and work it through my ends and mid section of my towel dried hair before my blow dry. I limit the amount of product I put near my roots and in my front section to have those pieces be less textured and a bit softer. I think carefully scrunch and diffuse my hair on each side. After my hair starts to dry, I flip my head over to diffuse some more and get some more volume going. Once my hair is dry, I finish it with a light spritz of got2b Glam Force high hold hairspray and scrunch the hair one last time with my hands. This gives me that perfectly casual but bold textured look. It’s my go-to for those warm summer days. It’s time to embrace your curls ladies. Be bold.
