Headed into this week with dramatic sleeves and a smile. You know I am not one to shy away from mixing black and blue and love the Summer feels of this look. Also, what is more beautiful than a wall full of Bougainvillea?? Excited to be taking a quick trip to Palm Springs this week and will hope to get a full dose of bougie’s and other desert blooms.
To all my friends in Houston and Florida, my heart has been heavy this weekend tracking the storm and seeing the devastation. For those still looking to help out, you can donate to Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund here and to Hurricane Irma Relief Fund here. Also today, my heart goes to NYC and all of those affected by the terror on 9/11. You are forever in our hearts. All reminders of how we need to be kinder to one another, and come together with love and compassion for those around us everyday. We need to support each other, lift each other up, and fight together always in both times of trouble and times of good. Let’s all start our day with compassion and love for one another.

Sharon - I love your sentiment here. It’s true wee need to come together, it warms my heart to see people donating and helping out the victims of the hurricane’s. I saw an article yesterday about Southwest airlines (I think) rounding up abandoned animals from the hurricane’s and flying them to San Diego to be reunited with their owners or adopted.
