Dressing a changing body can have many challenges. The raging hormones don’t help when you walk into your closet, try on 5 things, to find that how you picture yourself in your head no longer translates in the real world. When your pregnant, you have to start getting creative and thinking what type of looks can grow with you to give yourself a little sanity when you get dressed in the morning. I can’t tell you how many breakdowns I have had where Blake comes in and I am hysterical because I can’t find something that fits me. So! I have been trying to get smarter about the things I am bringing into my closet. Enter: The t-shirt dress. I LOVED these styles even before pregnancy and what is great is that this one has a tie so I can still give my body a little shape. I do love a loose fitting sheath dress look so this dress can be worn without the belt also. Another great style tip for a silk t-shirt dress is to wear it open over a silk cami and pants kimono style. So many options. Have to get creative and love this dress solution that is non-maternity. Want to continue to try to mix in maternity and non-maternity items as possible. I am currently doing some online shopping to prep for our Babymoon in Maui and totally stressing myself out about the perfect things to pack. Of course I will share some fav finds with you guys as I find them. Stay tuned for that!
