Today is all about the Golden Hour. The time of day when the sun is setting, and you get the most beautiful warm flow of sunlight pouring down on you. This particular day, Brian and I were exploring and getting lost in the meat packing district just strolling through some of the most beautiful cobble stone streets. For this look, i went super minimal with almost no accessories but my watch. I wanted the bold yellow color to be the star, and of course, these leopard print flats. Sometimes, less is more.

Sara - Less is definitely more! I love that sweater! I am so fond of areas in NYC like this. People I talk to find it so hard to believe you can actually find and old, peaceful street in the city.

Leonie @ TheSignatureBow - Ah, golden hour. I have seen several bloggers in the last weeks who used this beautiful light for their outfit pictures. Unfortunately here in Vancouver there is hardly any light, it almost seems to be dark the whole day.

It seems like you found the perfect little cobble stone street for your pictures, it absolutely suits the golden light. And I love how your outfit ‘pops’ even though it’s built on basics.

Hi/Lo: The Leopard Flat | PS I Want It - […] For my first Hi/Lo I’ve decided to tackle two trends in one: the smoking slipper + animal print. What can I say? I’m still feeling ambitious. You know preppy Stubbs & Wootton is the go-to purveyor of smoking slippers thanks to its Palm Beach pedigree and a J.Crew collaboration, but this leopard-print pair will set you back a pretty penny. Whereas Piperlime offers these Nine West pretties for much, much less. [photo] […]ReplyCancel
