When Blake and I were in Hawaii for our anniversary, I wanted to do something special to capture the moment. I feel like instagram is always such a great resource to search and discover new people and places. I was searching the geotags in Maui on our last trip and found some photos from Love and Water. I instantly fell in love with their romantic and beautiful sunrise and sunset photos capturing the incredible sky and see of Maui. The minute we booked out trip back I reached out to see if they were available for a sunrise shoot. We met Adam on the beach while it was still completely dark and waited for the first light to shine through. Nothing to wake you up than to walk into the ocean at 6am. I will say I was VERY scared to be in the water at this time of day because of sharks… BUT I did it!! Blake is never scared of that kind of stuff so it was absolutely a once in a lifetime experience being in the actual water as the sun was rising. Crazy beautiful. I adore these photos and love that we have a magic little memory to keep with us. The first photo of us running into the ocean is one of my favorites. Hope you love them as much I do.

Thuy - I love shoot memories in a dream destination 🙂 I just came back from Paris recently. It was my boyfriend and I’s first time in Paris together as well as first time in Europe, period. I had to have a shoot together with my love in the city of love. Even if we someday might break up! (Realistic, you know). It would be a memory of my first love, at worst. Plus, it’s a fun activity together despite possibly horrible weather conditions (it was dark and rainy for me) and early in the morning (sunrise, also).
